GETTING UP AND RUNNING

Are you new to DigiBricks or have you forgotten how to connect? This is the place to learn how to do just that. As a note, installing the software is not part of the ProjectFUN Robotics summer workshop.

Contents

Installing MPLAB IDE and the C18 Compiler and/or the C32 Compiler

File:MPLAB IDE 8 86.zip

File:mplabc18.zip

Unzip the file to get a folder name "mplabc18." Move it into the "C:\Program Files\" directory. Rename the folder MCC18 so as not to confuse the MPLAB IDE. Inside the folder is a folder named "v3.38." Open this folder. Cut all the contents. Go up one level. Paste the contents. Delete the now empty "v3.38" folder.

Installing Tera Term

Download the Tera Term (latest version) terminal emulator
